Il y a dans certaines maisons une mémoire persistante. Celle-ci s'appelait Bellevue, un ancien hôtel breton posé sur son promontoire, face au ciel et au vent du large.

La maison appartient désormais à une fratrie devenue adulte, qui revient chaque été avec ses propres enfants. Chaque étage s'est mué en appartement, distribué par un nouvel escalier développé dans l'extension contemporaine. La grande terrasse belvédère devient l'espace partagé comme on a toujours su le faire dans les maisons de famille qui durent.

L'extension en bardage de bois brûlé dialogue sobrement avec les façades enduites à la chaux, ce blanc si particulier qu'on ne trouve qu'ici, entre terre et mer. Le jardin a repris un aspect plus sauvage : granit de réemploi, graminées, arbustes, pins maritimes. Juste un air de Bretagne.
